Derrick, Stubbs & Stith, L.L.P. is an outgrowth of the practice of Noah E. Derrick, which began in 1915. Noah Derrick was one of the first ten individuals to be licensed as a certified public accountant in South Carolina. The present partnership was founded in 1950 with the addition of W.J. Stubbs and H. Talcott Stith, Jr. Noah Derrick was active as senior partner through the age of 90 and was recognized by the SC Senate and House of Representatives on his 100th birthday as the oldest living CPA in South Carolina. After residing for 50 years at 2835 Devine Street, Columbia, SC, the firm moved into new offices located at 508 Hampton Street, Columbia, SC on November 19, 1999.
